Collection: Blackhead skin

Excess sebum production leads to oily skin. The overactivity of the sebaceous glands can have genetic or hormonal causes. These glands are present all over our body except the palms and soles. They are mainly concentrated on the face (especially the T-zone), chest and back, which is why blackheads and acne are more common in these areas.

Skin rich in sebum has much larger pores, which clog and become inflamed more easily. Oily skin is also often associated with dehydration. Cleanse your face thoroughly, sometimes double-cleansing! Use an exfoliator to remove excess sebum and dead skin cells from your pores. A great solution for this is salicylic acid (BHA). Choose a moisturizer with a light texture for this purpose! Several active ingredients are very good for treating oily skin and blackheads, such as green tea, BHA, niacinamide, vitamin C, zinc, antioxidants... We know it's not simple...
