I'm Szujó Nóra (biochemical engineer), the lead product developer at almost 1618.
In the development process of cosmetic products, active ingredients play an essential role, but effective skin care cannot stop there.
As a Gen Y researcher, my dream was to create, together with my colleagues, a conscious skincare brand focused on active ingredients, where the products are manufactured using modern and environmentally friendly technologies.
I consider environmental protection and the use of high-quality and reliable raw materials a major responsibility in the skincare industry. When I develop a product, not only your skin is in my care, but also the environment.
In the 21st century, one of the most important tasks and at the same time a major challenge is to ensure that formulas are made using green, biodegradable and renewable energy technologies. Equally important is the selection process of the packaging materials, where I focus both on keeping the product quality and protecting the environment, so I choose 90% glass and paper packaging materials, minimizing the use of plastic.
Who are we?
Product formulation is a real team game for us. Our professional team includes chemical engineers, biochemists, herbalists, dermatologists and cosmetic consultants.
At the various stages of product development, they are involved in building each formula, so that the product you will apply to your skin every day is excellent from a technological, professional, dermatological and user experience point of view. Thus, your skin will receive exactly what it needs most
What does the name almost1.618 mean?
PHI=1.618... It's an irrational number in math that describes natural beauty (I hope you heard about the golden section in high school). So, we can say that nature and science meet in this number "almost" 1.618... The almost 1.618 brand is, therefore, the younger brother of PHI Cosmetics in Romania and benefits from all the support that made PHI Cosmetics a household name.
