Antibacterial action: Inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria, responsible for acne.

Anti-keratolytic effect: Regulates the processes of cell division in the upper layer of the skin, decreasing the probability of clogging pores and reducing the chances of blackheads and pimples.

In addition, it helps to fade acne scars and pigmentation spots caused by UV rays by inhibiting the production of the enzyme Tyrosinase, which is responsible for the production of melanin

Apply the serum to cleansed skin, after toning and before moisturizing! Use one pipette on each cheek and distribute evenly. It's a white suspension, so it can leave a very thin, slightly white coating on your skin. If it bothers you, we recommend that you include it in your evening routine.

IMPORTANT: This is a suspension blend formula as PUR Azelaic Acid does not dissolve in water or oil. Therefore, the active ingredient is dispersed in the formula. Because of this, small particles may appear on the pipette. This is a natural phenomenon. Shake well before use!

From its name, we might infer that as a carboxylic acid, one of its functions is exfoliation, but in this case, this is not true.
